Welcome to Diamond RF Farms, owned by Richard and Betsy Foster and our son, Richard, III. Our interest in registered cattle all started in 2000 with Richard, III competing in the local county calf scramble. With no experience or background in cattle, we purchased a heifer and for the next four years would travel across Texas competing in Texas Club Calf Shows.

We would try other breeds, but we liked Simbrah best and we would quickly forge relationships with some of the movers and shakers in the breed. We began building our herd and today have 30 registered  Simbrah females at work. The herd includes purchases from MAS, Synergy and the Houston International Sales, as well as private treaty purchases from other noted breeders. In addition, Richard, III’s show heifers have been retained and placed in the herd. 

We have one focus and that is quality. We utilize embryo transfer and artificial insemination, so that superior genetics can be quickly introduced into the herd, and Richard III spends hours studying cattle, pedigrees, breeding programs along with helping many of their young junior customers with their Diamond RF show cattle purchases. He is attending K State University to major in animal breeding and reproduction and is on the meat judging team for the university. 

Diamond RF is a sponsor of the Simmental-Simbrah Superbowl and is part of the Synergy Sale group. We have cattle for sale at private treaty, and of course Synergy III, which is set for October 23, 2010, in Giddings, Texas. 

The ranch is located 60 miles southwest of Houston at Wallis and visitors are always welcomed. We’re glad you stopped by our website and we hope you will visit here often.
